so yeah im turning 23 this year. suppose to be life changing phenomena. well, screewww that. im soo over thinking of what im gonna do by the end of 2012. the only thing i care about is finishing with my undergraduate studies and be happy with it.

btw, my holidays could not get any dull. spend few days working and im glad i have a week off. except for thursday. thursdayyy! i could handle 10 young adults in 2 hours, i think. ;)

so Dyrah, GG and I headed to the crowded place ever, Bukit Bintang soon as i finished my paper.
to be honest, it's never so thrilled to actually indulge in the fiesta since i am a covert person myself.
nonetheless, why not join in the fun before it melts. :)

As time goes by, I realize I’ve become an adult without anyone telling me so. I realize for the time being, I’ve made numerous decisions without anyone manipulating me. And I realize wiser choices needed to be carefully selected. And within a year from now, I have to remove the back of my bone. I’ve always wanted to be independent, without clinging to anyone. And that time will eventually come - probably even sooner than I thought. So cheers for turning 22, though I’m still a baby, I’m anticipating for the adulthood-years ahead. :)

The other night, I viewed some random photos I’ve been keeping for the last few years and I still cannot believe how time had me at niche. I was a different person, had different looks, possessed different personalities but somehow, I guess I was the same person inside. Now, that’s confusing but that’s what I felt.

As I am writing this, I still cannot believe that I am now at Dungun visiting my youngest brother who was admitted to the hospital yesterday night. I went back from work only to hear unpleasant news about him suspected with a Dengue. My dad then decided to rush to Terengganu that same night.

I was a tad skeptical of leaving knowing that I still have pile of works waiting to be completed and that I have left with so little time. Nonetheless, I shut all that and run off to see my brother. Family first, says my conscience. And there I go: a trip of more than 200km just to put a smile on his face.

i kinda have issues with myself lately. but im struggling hard, very hard to literally solve them. well, sort of in the back of my head. sometimes i cannot wait for miracles to happen which i know, impossible. so school has started and likewise each semester will start with an aim that i will never procrastinate my works, will always do revision before and after class, struggle hard for every paper plus no more last minutes! and yeah, at the end of the semester i'll always end up saying to myself 'i've told you so'. BUT this will not happen this time around. InsyaAllah.

anyways, i'm gonna be a whole lot busier for the next 4-5 months. for now, I have three jobs to juggle and focus on my studies. i guess i will abandon everything else behind for the time being.

Definitely, definitely not mine.

It’s a story of a couple who finally tied the knot after 7 years of ‘being in love’. Well they still are in love, I know they do. My sister and her spouse knew each other when they were 18 and eventually get married after all the hardships they have had encountered. I’m surprised that their love is still as strong as a brick because honestly I can never imagine myself in her place. Nonetheless, they’re married now and so I guess that 7 years probably meant the world for them.

ps: honestly, this is not even a story but i'm glad their 7 years are worth the wait! :)

I know it’s a tad late to share their wedding photos that happened almost a year ago, but who ever get tired of weddings? :p

ok so bulan bulan puasa ni mesti la nak cerita benda baik kan. so meh sini nak cerita pasal terawih. tahun lepas cerita pasal jejaka2 yang pergi masjid dengan baju melayu dgn songkok bagai like ohmygod kacaknya! walaupun muka tidak lah persis ashton kutcher. tp still handsome jugak sebab pergi solat terawih and stay smpi witir. alololo tomeynyeww. -.- tahun ni pulak nak cerita pasal kanak2 lelaki dekat masjid. nak dijadikan cerita, masuk minggu kedua ramadhan, farah lari ikut mamabah pegi masjid wilayah jln duta cause ya Allah, budak2 kat masjid firdaus tak nak pulak lagi bising time jemaah tgh solat. rasa nak marah pun ada tp kena control ayu dan sweet sebab byk makcik2, jatuh saham nnti. haha.

anyways, dekat masjid wilayah, there were two boys aged around 7 & 9 caught my eyes. rasanya adik beradik sebab dua2 pakai baju sama, seluar sama, kopiah pun sama! so comel. and though dorg tak masuk saf dua2 budak ni ikut terawih from the start smpi habis 20 and till witir! i admired their courage sangat sangat.

on the other hand, ada sekali tu solat dekat masjid near pasar borong. tp budak2 kat sana nakal nak mampus. bising gila! bila hbs 8 terus bising main2 and kacau jemaah wanita. so rude!! bukan nak kata respect, bila tegur lagi buat bising. kurang ajar betul. rasa nak piat telinga masing2. haha

so hopefully, one day when i have my own kids, i hope they become like the boys in masjid wilayah. baru la sejuk perut mengandung. hihihi

my blissful ramadhan

Little that I know Ramadhan for 1432 is going to be meaningful to me. I get to spent half of my day with the orphans from Darul Fakir. It was a da’wah based program for the less fortunate and I am more than happy to take part in such a beautiful significant event. Initially, I was a bit skeptical of joining so to say since I was not really good handling kids and the whole idea of da’wah really creep me out as I am still in search of my true identity. But Allah has chosen me, and though I might not given any impact to the kids, I feel luckier than ever to join them and listen to the tazkirah held mostly by the experienced brothers.

Half day is definitely never enough for me to actually discover Islam entirely or getting to know each of the girls by heart but hopefully I’ll be able to visit them more often in the future. They’re like the sisters I never had. :)

I was never a good muslim and I am still working my way on to that a little bit harder. This event has taught me a lot and has become an eye opener to my heart.

It’s a moving love story of an elderly woman who’s in search of her truest love that had been abandoned for 50 years. She had finally found the man of her life and they got married and I guess, live happily ever after. Cliché’ no? but I loved how love was entailed in this movie. Beautifully elucidate.

no, not leopards or African penguins. Im talking about a true gentleman. I once saw a husband reluctantly hold his crying baby for just like 2 minutes without trying to calm her down. he just waited until his wife took her and continued studying his stupid Iphone4! talk about rude and impolite, i mean that's your child! i could tell from there that he is the kind of a husband who merely thinks that 'im working so hard to give you a luxury life so shut up and take care of our home, by yourself'. this is definitely not the type of man i'm hoping to marry because it is not just a duty of women to build a marriage, it takes two persons for God's sake. And what has happened to knight in shining armors or chivalry? they dont exist, dont they? and the truest gentlemen, are most likely to extinct, no?

a gentleman need not to be oh so charming or soooo handsome but a man whom women can absolutely rely upon. so i guess the world will never have men who are:
1. willing to hold the glass door for a lady anymore, or give a cue that a lady should take her entrance first and foremost.
2. or wait for a woman to have her seat before him
3. or even voluntarily help women in the kitchen or doing house chores. (sadly, they needed to be told)
4. and well others.

anyways, this longg entree has nothing to do with me being a feminist. but i really against the mundane idea of the public that a man needed to get married because he really needs someone to take care of him. well, newsflash both parties should be taken care of!

hey! i attended a small gathering of my school at the Curve yesterday! im glad that i came though i must say this has not been properly organized as not everyone from St Mary came (not even 15! haha). despite that i really had a great time! it's just so good to finally meet all the lovely girls talking, laughing and gossiping all evening! hehe. well, the next gathering must be well-planned for my 2006 batch. maybe after everyone finishes studies and what not. :) but i must say that i really miss my school days when the only thing i care about was freedom. haha. lame, i know!

i saw him a few weeks back, when i was having lunch with my parents in Selayang. he is short, plump and he wears this big grin on his face. he also carried his larger than life briefcase around. he caught my attention as he went table by table smiling and giving salam to everyone.

'assalamualaikum pak cik, bagi saya seminit je nak cakap. produk ni bagus pak cik, buatan malaysia, mak cik pun boleh guna... oh yer? takpe, terima kasih sebab dengar yer pak cik.'

this line is repeated God knows how many times per day and i was touched seeing him trying to explain though it was really hot that day and he was all sweaty. but still, he was smiling and held his head up high.

in my mind, the thought of 'how much he earns' kept on playing without the pause button being pressed. it was really none of my business but i was distracted by him. my eyes were practically glancing at him in each table he stopped because i was amazed by his courage, determination and positive aura.

so i dont know what happened to him since that day but a week ago, i saw him again, walking through the pedestrian walk towards the Old Town White Coffee in Wangsa Maju-still carrying his briefcase and wears the same smile.

to me, he was bold and still am.

hello. these two weeks i'm gonna be very busy completing assignments, getting ready for English Lit exhibition, studying for Arabic quiz plus, working at night. all i need right now is a full bar of energy as i am indeed worry that i cannot cope up with all of these and faint. *nauzubillah. however, im pretty excited about the exhibition. since this is a short course, Kak TJ focuses more on World War 1 so my group has to exhibit Life in the Trenches. as interesting as it sounds, we goggled lots of photos and videos regarding this and how shock the outcomes were. and as for now, we've prepared the props like dead bodies, rats, rifles, grenades and hopefully more to come. I wish my cash + time spent for this worth the 20/30 marks. :) hope it all goes well next friday. insyaAllah.

& ohh, i'm grateful with my Arabic midterm result. it's my final level for this course so im pretty psyche about this. though i'm gonna miss learning this beautiful language, part of me always says 'CEPAT LA HABIS' hehe

Hi! i had a very very bad day today. i was fined by MPS for parking at the wrong spot (rm100 btw :/) waited for the call number at BSN only to find out that my bsn account was no more invalid few years back. walked home in the middle of the rain & realized i took the wrong key so waited for almost 20 mins to get in. erghh. but fret not! i was saved by an outing for awhile that night. hehe. :)

i really got busy at the starting of the month. i was involved in nusantara theatre week, elits' sports & games week and on top of that, i have been running around searching schools for my research paper in which a lot of schools rejected us -.- but finally SMK Selayang Baru approved :) and ohh! that same week was the pre-registration period so basically that week was just too tiresome! by friday, just when i thought everything is over, Poetry Club's family day is happening that night. but im glad it went successfully. :DD and then, the next week we were preparing for the american literature class's staging that came between jejak penglipur lara 2 event,but thnk god i was just the secretary so basically i just had to finish the letters and what not. please take a note that i had spent too much of time and money for these events. *sighh oh yes, talking about the staging. it really went well alhamdulillah. but it was pretty embarrassing doing a musical since i really cant sing. but had to do it anyways, coz it's worth 20 marks. hihi.

it's Thursday night, and suddenly went out with Dyrah and Jay heading to Damansara. it was really impromptu. We had dinner at almost midnight, thank you very much and we had it at Herris (the owner is Jay's bf, Haris ;D) the food was awesome. jay and I had meetballs, Dyrah had Cordon Blue. lepas makan went to uptown damansara then sleepover at Tok Mama's and met ROY the cute cat!

HI!it's the 10th week and everyone got soo busy with their own works and i am included! apart from having lots and lots of assignments and field works to complete, i've volunteered to become the committee for the Elit's Sports Day, Nusantara Theatre Week and also Poetry Club's Jejak Penglipur Lara. talk about being busyyyyyy. running here and there just to get approval, lots of sweat and cash wasted there. but it's awesomeeeee anyways so i dont really mind. :)

it's just so fun doing this course for this semester! we get to travel wherever we wanted to, shooting any videos about culture and be satirical about it. the problem is, this class project uses lots of cash! and initially, we planned to go to Kelantan. but things have changed, we decided to 'travel' around klang valley.NO, we're not lame! there are so many things we've discovered! and the people in KL are so friendly, ok only some of them. pictureessssss!more places to cover, hopefully! :)

dah lama tak pegi main air, last recall was last year maybe. so 8 of us headed to Gabai, Hulu Langat about 10am. had a minor unfortunate incident near traffic light, taman melati-our gas tank ran out. :( thnk god, another car made it through till gas station and brought us minyak to drive till petronas nearby. so sampai hulu langat at 11.45am, the place was a bit crowded. which reminds me, some of the guys who came stayed till 2pm. tak pegi solat jumaat. -__- it was a fun day indeed. few mishaps along the way, but everyone enjoyed. :))

tomorrow is the beginning of a new semester. can't be so nervous about it! it is cliche how each sem i would take a vow to do this and not to do that. like no more last minutes, focus in class, no more laughing around but study! but heck, i cant do that. im not a machine. well, sometimes im just lazyy biasa la kann? hihi.

salam maal hijrah or should i greet with happy new year? hehe. today was awesome. balik kampung melayu subang dengan family and siap bwk balik newly wed couple lagi. kaklong and abg rahmat will finally start their working days from tomorrow after the honeymoon vacation. hehehe. we had bbq for today, courtesy of our beloved pakcu. :) ada ikan bakar, sotong, ketam, ayam, udang (which i can never resist!) and tom yam! & definitely completed with ABC as the dessert. and i've made my own ABC proudly. lepas ni boleh bukak kedai. haha.

today is the last day of MAHA 2010. so mama decided we had a trip to serdang. only bazli and i tagged along since kaklong went out with her husband, hazim had 'date' with his guy friend and abah is busy preparing for his presentation for tomorrow! & the best part is, we went there by ktm, took a bus at serdang station and the free shuttle to get to UPM. it was freaking exhausting but definitely better than driving coz there are loads of road blocks near cheras i guess.

anyways, MAHA was awesome. we stayed there until late evening after asar prayer. nevertheless we didnt finish the entire place though coz it was packed with people. a lot of them! i was a bit emotional due to the weather, the crowd and my hormones! hihihi.

i hate the fact that each year im 'lucky' enough to ran into people who dont fast and they're boastful about it. like last year i saw a lot of guys smoking in public and random people who ate at klcc's food court at 12pm! whatever reasons you have, you should have respected the month. or at least, yourself. anyways, couple of days ago im still as luckiest as last year. i saw 4 dudes eating in a van albeit they saw me walking pass through them! Gila tak maluuu. & the guy in the driving seat was drinking soya bean straight from the big box. i was trying so hard not to stare at them coz i was afraid if they would grab me or snatch me or punch me or anything like that. so instead i just walk and pretend they were invisible. well, i had to. left me with no choice. shame on you lelaki adult yang tak puasa.

heyya! it's the 21st ramadhan already. cant believe time is flying soooooo fast that i haven't got the time to blog or anything. well, with lots of things that happened in the fasting month like the midterms and quizzes & going out for iftar, things got pretty crazyyy around me. anyways, another week to got in uia, then the raya break will come eventually. cant wait for bazli and hazim to come home and have our iftar together coz its always been the three of us (mamaabah & I) since kaklong always have her plans lining up every weekends. lol.

btw, its merdeka day today! since i dont go to any parades or anything, im basically helping mama and her friends for the Majlis Khatam al-Quran at the surau nearby. i know i couldnt help much, but being there, recording the ceremony, helping here and there kinda make my day. mak cik tu semua baik2. harap2 dorang ada anak lelaki yang baik dan handsome. haha. ok thats not the point. some of the mak cik got a real attitude as well. just because their names weren't mention in giving out the ijazah sanad. chill la, they will get them later pun. & mama just stood there smiling. i love you lah. ok bye! muah!

World cup almost reach to an end (finally haha). happy or sad really depends on which teams perform the best in the final. anyhow im not a big fan of football (no matter how gorgeous the players are ;p), and will never be. however, i do take note a little bit about the sport though. the free kick, offside, defender, striker, midfielder, the pitch, the corner-kick, dropped-ball and the list goes on and on.. general knowledge, no? i just thought at least even though i have no interest in the sport i still manage to somehow engage in this man-game conversation. hehe.

anyways, since Bazli ain't around i seem to replace his position somehow. abah would shout 'farah goallllllllllll! nampak tak tadii goallllllllllll' to me even if i was sitting right next to him. he would also talk about the WC with me which i thought awwh cute. like the other day he wanted argentina to win so he kept on telling me 'tgk la nnti farah, argentina belasah germany tu' but when they lost, he would say 'dorg main tak bagus smlm' haha. and now that he supports the spain he'll say 'kan abah dah ckp spain menang dgn german hari tu' and 'nnti final dorg menang jugak' every time.

reasons to feel old:

My age does not include 'teen' anymore. its T & Y for now like 'you're twenty, thirty, forty' god i'm old!
I have to learn how to cook a proper meal. yes, it does make me feel old.
I'm on my second year, and the next thing i know i'll be wearing a robe and holding a scroll. and it'll happen within two years!!
My sister is getting married & who knows if next year she's gonna be a mum & suddenly i'm an aunt! no way!
The emergence of young artists. you name it, justin bieber, miley cyrus, demi lovato? why cant u be like 24 or something??
My parents look so serene these days, they just lean at each other on the couch every weekend. have a coffee and talk and being sweet. gee, im jealous. but i feel old at the same time. blerkkhh.
I have to do most of the things by myself. i like it when parents used to do anything for you. like pouring water or put your meal in the plates. ahh, those were the days.
The thought of carrying around your responsibilities bucket is torturing me and make me feel damn old.

i want to grow old but i dont wanna look old! hehehehe.

It's almost 2.30 in the morning and the night surely still young. im still awake, not wide awake but i guess i could manage to open my eyes and glide my fingers on the keyboard to type. :) so another 2 weeks of break left then hard works need to put on once more. this time around no more sleepless nights nor last minute thingy (remind urself thousands of times please).

truth to be told nothing is hidden. 2 years have gone in a jiff, lots of things had happened ,and im glad i've survived through all of these. no doubt i feel lost and confused at times but then again confusion is never new to me.

Im upset over my own self sometimes, feeling broke and helpless but i do not hate myself. Im learning to appreciate everything that I have. but every now and then i wish i'd be a lot less clueless about every single thing so that it'll be easier for me to consume certain things in life. those ups and downs, heartbreaking decisions, and all the difficulties. but hey, im still alive.

So whatever it is for now, i'll start believing in myself and have a way higher self-esteem that i can be absolutely proud of. :)

hi, its been soooo freaking long i knoww. one of these days, i'll be thinking of deleting this blog. haha. anyways, short semester is almost over. another 2 weeks to go for finals! yeay, cuak cuak.

btw, i went out a lot this sem! and yes, now im officially broke. i should have spend my days by studying or lie on bed watching movies instead of going out, seriously. and the fact that i have no scholarship whatsoever really got me suffered not just this semester though but throughout my whole years of studies. boo. ok bye, have lotsa things to do.
